“In 20 years as a music director, Kevin is easily one of the most gifted musicians I’ve worked with. I’ve hired him for years, and there’s a reason he continues to be one of my first calls. He plays with passion and instinct, knowing when to push, when to pull back, and when to sit in the pocket and let the music breathe. Beyond the drums, he’s loyal, dependable, absolutely hilarious, and has become a genuine friend. Talent can get you in the room, but character keeps you there—and Kevin has both.”

“Kevin Chong is one of the most complete drummers I’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with. He is a modern, technically skilled musician who can play with speed and precision while always serving the music. What I appreciate most about Kevin is his humility and willingness to take direction. As a music director, he gives me complete confidence knowing the foundation is secure because he plays it with excellence.”

“Kevin Chong is an incredible drummer and one of the most talented, dependable, and versatile musicians I’ve had the pleasure of working with. His ability to play any genre of music exceptionally well, while bringing authenticity and musicality to every style, is truly remarkable, and he has become a fan favorite at all of my Disney shows inside Disney California Adventure. Kevin is incredibly loyal, professional, and committed, and he’s someone I know I can always count on. He brings incredible energy to every performance while always listening, supporting the music, and elevating everyone around him.”

“Kevin is my first choice for a drummer, whether studio or live. He has a great pocket and is consistently excellent. As solid as he is creative, bringing technicality and energy to every project.”
